How I started
Hi, I’m Tony Haouchab. My journey as a Business Coach & Consultant started with my father’s small business. He started the business out of necessity to provide for our family. We didn’t have much choice at the time because we had just migrated to Australia with nothing but the clothes on our backs.
It was a tough time. I remember he would work long and hard hours, sometimes 6 or 7 days a week but he still struggled to make ends meet and felt defeated by his own business. It was heartbreaking for me to witness this.
From a very young age, I learned that business can be tough, risky and lonely. I was determined to help make a difference, so after school and armed with my business studies textbook and newspaper clippings, I would try to help give him ideas and tips. I didn’t know what coaching or consulting was at the time. As a 15 year old, I was giving my old man business advice (you should have seen the shocked look on his face!).
It’s no coincidence that I became obsessed with all things ‘business’. This led me to work with some of Australia’s largest ASX listed companies and gaining amazing experience for over 15 years.
I’ve gained some hard won-experience having worked with companies such as the Commonwealth Bank, PWC, National Australia Bank, Perpetual, coaching their leaders and playing a key part in transforming their businesses.
